Come join the Salted Roots team for an evening of bird watching around Lake Merritt! Get to know our staff and volunteers, meet other campers, and ask as many questions as you’d like. We’ll have binoculars to share and will go on a short walk to popular birding spots at the lake, while also learning about the watershed that connects Oakland to the ocean.
